Coir Pots

Coir pots are made using a combination of natural coir fiber and natural latex. Our coir pots can be molded into a wide range of shapes and sizes. Since they are made from natural coir fiber it allows air and water to effectively be distributed throughout the pot allowing for stronger root growth and development.

The coir pot is completely biodegradable and converted into organic matter in due course it is the best alternative to plastic containers. There is no root twirling, no root bound plants, no need to manipulate the root ball before planting to help it grow and therefore no root shock. Once planted in the ground, air pruned roots grow again and robust root growth has been after just 10 days.

Coir Geotextiles

Geotextiles are geosynthetic woven mesh produced using the fibres obtained from the coconut husk. This eco-friendly product is widely used in an array of civil engineering applications to maximize soil protection and erosion control.

Geo Blankets and Erosion Control Blankets are made to support the soil establishment as well as the root development and growth of plants. Examples of use include:

 

  • Erosion Control
  • River Bank Stabilization
  • Anti-Weed Blankets
  • Mud wall reinforcement

 The product is 100% biodegradable and does not need to be removed after installation. Being easily installable and water permeable, it is an ideal product for soil enhancement, anti-erosion and germination.

Twisted Fiber

Machine twisted fiber (FMT) is made with natural coir fiber. We offer 4 types of grades:

  • Mattress Fiber
  • Omat Fiber
  • Bristle Fiber
  • Mixed Fiber

We can offer products with a composition of 100% of either one grade, or compositions of mixed grades depending on the customers requirement.

They are mainly used as upholstery in the automobile industry, production of rubberized coir mattress, coir cushions and coir pads. Our FMT range is widely acclaimed for being a cost-effective, eco-friendly product. Coir fiber possess a natural high tensile strength which makes our FMT a superior product in the market. Each spool of FMT offered weighs approximately 20-22 kg and has load bearing ability of 22 tons per 40HC Container.

Coir Pads

Coir pads are made from natural coir fiber which is sprayed with natural rubber latex that help bond the strands together. This is a very eco-friendly and versatile product. The natural moisture content of the coir fiber ensures the flexibility of the coir strands, which can be accordingly be used for a wide range of applications. It is important to note that like other coir products they are water permeable.

We offer a wide range of Coir Pads and cater to the growing demands of padding based products. These include mattresses (bedding) and other upholstery padding. The pads are highly shock absorbent making them an ideal solution to packaging filers. The pads also serve as an excellent insulator and are commonly in the construction industry as insulting material in walls and floors to retain heat in cold climate. Other uses include decorative items such as doormats in different designs and layouts.

The natural coir pads used in the above stated uses are preferred to synthetic alternatives because this product is highly biodegradable and eco-friendly leaving little or no carbon footprint.
